I left corporate America to pursue entrepreneurship. I was building something — and then the housing crisis hit, and it fell apart.
I pivoted into housing counseling. It was meaningful work. But it wasn't enough to live on.
I was tired of struggling. I was tired of working hard and still coming up short. I needed to do something different to get a different result — and I needed to do it without knowing exactly how it would turn out.
That's when I was introduced to life insurance.
I'll be honest: it was new to me. It was uncomfortable. I didn't have a roadmap. But I was willing to learn something unfamiliar if it meant building something real.
That was 2013. Since then, I've built a business helping families protect the people they love — and I've helped other women explore whether this work could be right for them too.
